2. Data We Collect
Contact form submissions (name, email, optional company, message), enrollment inquiries, payment-related records processed by third parties, technical logs (IP, browser type), cookie data per our Cookie Settings page, and learner progress in our training portal when enrolled.
3. Purposes
We process data to respond to inquiries, deliver courses, improve site security, analyze aggregated usage when you opt in to analytics cookies, and meet legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis
Processing is based on contract performance (enrollment), legitimate interests (site security and service improvement), consent (analytics and marketing where applicable), and legal obligation.
5. Retention
Inquiry records are retained up to 24 months unless a longer period is required for enrollment records. Enrollment and billing records are retained per Japanese commercial and tax requirements, typically seven years for accounting artifacts.
6. Sharing
We share data with hosting providers, email delivery services, payment processors, and lab platform vendors under data processing terms. We do not sell personal data.
7. International Transfers
Some subprocessors may process data outside Japan. We use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
8. Your Rights
Under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and applicable guidelines, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing where applicable. 9. Security
We implement access controls, encryption in transit, and staff training. No method of transmission is completely secure; report suspected incidents promptly.
10. Children
Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children without guardian involvement.
11. Automated Decisions
We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about learners.
12. Policy Changes
We will post updates on this page with a new last-updated date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site or via email to enrolled users.
